The Diversity Team will be running a two-day Training for Trainers Course from the 7-8th of January 2017. Being a trainer is a tremendously rewarding experience as it allows you to empower other members of the party, particularly women, using your unique skill-set. Training for Trainers
The Diversity Team is delighted to announce that it will be organising a two-day Training for Trainers Course on 7-8 January 2017. The course is designed to accredit new trainers who can deliver training courses on behalf of the party.
This course is part of our ongoing effort to increase the amount of diversity training (ethnic minority, gender balance and unconscious bias) available within the party, therefore priority will be given to those we who can demonstrate a commitment to diversity training.
The course will cover a range of essential skills including:
- How to develop your presentation skills
- How to deliver effective presentations
- How to design engaging training material
- How to give and receive feedback
- Understanding how different people learn and absorb new information
This training is especially important following our terrific victory in Richmond Park, as we need more people who can deliver training to support our future candidates, especially those from underrepresented groups!
We will make contributions towards travel and accommodation expenses.
Demand of this course far exceeds the number of places available (12 in total) so we will not be able to accept all applicants on this occasion.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for an application form. The deadline for submissions is Sunday 11 December, 11.59pm.
